Covid-19: Inquiry Reevaluation

Covid-19: Inquiry Reevaluation

Due to the extraordinary circumstances faced by schools during and after the lockdown, our recycling programme, Bincurity has been halted until further notice from the Ministries of Health and Education.

Hygiene is imperative in the 'new normal'. Sorting and collection of recycling provides too many dangers. Therefore students have been asked to take all their waste home. We hope that recycling learnings from Bincurity are transferred to the household.

I am currently considering a number of topics to change my inquiry to. These include:
  • How students can share data effectively from Makerspace sensors in Eels tank or Pātaka gardens?
  • How to promote use of the Laser Cutter to create PES specific design rather than copy and paste existing ideas?
  • Tracking learnings and engagement  of Yr7 students learning Robotics, Gardening, Data sharing and Cooking through the Pātaka Garden project.
